The International Expat Community in Ticino

It all started in the middle of the pandemic when the newly arrived Brazilian entrepreneur named Liz Thayana Kirchhoff decided to create a WhatsApp group to make friends in Lugano.

 She started to organize dinners on Thursday nights and with each dinner more and more people came to join. Quickly the group grew and other activities took place and many friendships and unforgettable moments were created.

Naturally, a community of expats was created in Ticino and today the group has become the biggest reference for all newcomers to Italian Switzerland looking for a support network to establish themselves here. It is understood that life in Switzerland is good, but it can be even better with the love and affection of new friends.
